“A Silent Voice” aka “Koe No Katachi” to Finally Open in PH Cinemas May 10

Pioneer Films through their Facebook page Viewers Choice Philippines, announced that A Silent Voice aka Koe No Katachi will finally be opening in Philippine cinemas on May 10.

The film will be in its orginal Japanese language, accompanied by English subtitles.

No list of cinemas as of the moment but you can already check your preferred cinema’s website or contact them to inquire about the film.

The story revolves around Nishimiya Shoko, a grade school student who has impaired hearing. She transfers into a new school, where she is bullied by her classmates, especially Ishida Shouya. It gets to the point where she transfers to another school and as a result, Shouya is ostracized and bullied himself, with no friends to speak to and no plans for the future. Years later, he sets himself on a path to redemption.
