Father and Son Bonds Through Boxing in Cinemalaya 2017 Entry “Kiko Boksingero”

One of the official entries of the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, “Kiko Boksingero” just released its full trailer online.

The film is about  an 11-year-old boy was left alone with his nanny after the death of his mother and tries to reconnect with his estranged father, a has-been boxer. Filling the gap of the time lost, the father and son bonds through their shared love for boxing.

It stars newcomer Noel Comia Jr. with Yayo Aguila & Yul Servo. Screenplay by Denise O’Hara, Ash Malanum, Heber O’Hara & Emmanuel Espejo Jr. and directed by Thop Nazareno.

Kiko Boksingero

“Kiko Boksingero” is an official entry to the 2017 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival. It will run from August 5 – 13 at CCP Theaters and select Ayala Malls Cinemas.
