It was a jam-packed special screening for Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2017 official entry Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B at the UP Cine Adarna. Even though it was raining, people were still lining up to watch the film with the cast and crew.
To the surprise of the audience, the producers decided to screen the uncut version of the film, loud applause came when producer Perci Intalan announced.
After the screening, a wild applause filled the UP Cine Adarna as the audience show their support for the film.
After the screening, the main stars Ryza Cenon, Martin del Rosario with Cholo Barretto, writer Jen Chuaunsu, director Prime Cruz and some of the crew who were present go up on stage for a question and answer.
