Biopic ‘I, Father Fernando Suarez’ Announced

Producer Mark Shandii Bacolod, though Team MSB’s Facebook page, announced a new collaboration with writer and director Joseph Abello in ‘I, Father Fernando Suarez’ – a biopic about the famous healing priest.

Fernando Suarez is a Filipino Catholic priest who performs faith healing here in the Philippines and internationally. At the age of 16, he saw a paralyzed 60-year-old woman who asked him to pray for her. After his Hail Mary prayer, the woman stood up and walked.

This is Joseph Abello’s first feature film (What Home Feels Like, Double Twisting Double Back). His first feature film ‘What Home Feels Like’ won 2nd Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Story and Best Musical Score at the ToFarm Film Festival in 2017.

Production of ‘I, Father Fernando Suarez’ is said to start this year. No cast and other news have been announced as of the moment.
