Moviegoers will get an early head start to experience the high-stakes survival drama Heart of the Beast, as Paramount Pictures holds exclusive sneak preview screenings on September 19 and 20, ahead of its wide theatrical release on September 23.
Directed by action veteran David Ayer (Fury, The Beekeeper), the film stars Brad Pitt as Special Forces officer James Belmont alongside his combat dog, Odin (played by canine actor Uber). After surviving a terrifying plane crash, the duo is left stranded in the frozen expanse of the Alaskan wilderness, fighting against brutal freezing weather and unforgiving elements to make it home alive.
A newly released behind-the-scenes featurette highlights the emotional core of the film—the deep, unbreakable bond between Belmont and Odin.
“It’s been a surprisingly special experience,” says Brad Pitt of working alongside Uber, calling his four-legged co-star “the most important piece to this story.”
