It’s a tricky question and situation but that is hardly tackled in Philippine cinemas that’s what producer Omar Sortijas told us during the pocket press conference of their Cinemalaya 2018 film Kung Paano Hinihintay ang Dapithapon.
The core of the film is can old people still feel jealousy? But the story itself will tackle themes that are not usual in Philippine cinema. These themes might make more sense to old people but is actually universal. Love, forgiveness, acceptance, death – we all experience these at one point or another.

Teresa and Celso is an unmarried couple trying to survive their mundane elderly life.
