“Halloween” Review: Fun and Nerve-Wracking Slasher Thriller

HALLOWEEN (2018) Review
Directed by David Gordon Green

If you’re familiar with “Halloween,” you’d probably expect the gore, the intense chasing and WTF moments. You’ll think you’re already tired of the usual antics of the genre but this 2018 continuation of the popular slasher film is still effective with its gimmicks.

The film follows 40 years after Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) survived the impossible: when crazed mass killer Michael Myers tries to take her life. Myers is locked up in a secured facility but not for long. The predator and the prey will have to meet again, but the prey isn’t as weak as before.

Halloween is a fun and suspenseful worthy installment of the famous slasher franchise. There are enough thrills and tension in the story that would make give you an edge-of-your-seat, nerve-wracking movie experience.
