There seems to be no shortage of action scenes in JR Olinares’ latest film, ‘Beyond the Call of Duty.’
When asked about the big cast of the movie and directing a movie with this number of artists, “I would like to take this opportunity to all of the supporters, especially the Philippine National Police, the OLCFI. So, we need to have a market since the Philippine cinema is mahirap na talaga i-market dito, That’s why we tapped the organization, we tapped the supporters – PNP especially and the Philippine Public Safety College. Napakalaking pelikula, you can see the production value. ‘Yung cast, napakadami, almost 30. Kung kasama ang special and roles natin, nasa 1000,” director JR Olinares responds.
During the short Q&A before the premiere night screening, director JR Olinares dedicated the film to the men in uniform who were involved in making the film on and off cam.
‘Beyond the Call of Duty’ opens in cinemas September 3, 2025.
The film stars Martin del Rosario, Maxine Trinidad, Paolo Gumabao, Devon Seron, and Jeffrey Santos in a gripping story where every decision matters and every mission has a cost.
