Aspirational anime ‘Medalist’ returns for its second season this January 25 on Disney+

PHILIPPINES (JANUARY 12, 2026) — This month, find new year’s inspiration out on the ice as Inori and Tsukasa return to chase gold when Medalist season 2 debuts January 25 on Disney+.

An aspirational anime that follows a young figure skating amateur and her coach as they chase their shared dream of winning gold, Medalist season 1 saw Inori and Tsukasa work together on and off the ice to compete for the Meikoh Cup – overcoming unexpected challenges, stiff competition and forming new friendships along the way. In season 2, Inori and her coach look to take things to the next level as they compete in the All-Japans Novice Contest.
