“A Silent Voice (Koe No Katachi)” PH Release List of Cinemas

As you may have known, Pioneer Films has already announced that Koe No Katachi or A Silent Voice will have its Philippine release on May 10. The list of cinemas has been the first request of the fans for them to plan their movie dates.

Pioneer Films via their Facebook page Viewers Choice Philippines just released a statement regarding the list of cinemas:

Here’s the list of cinemas showing #KoeNoKatachi STARTING MAY 10. We’ll be editing this post within the day if there are additional cinemas. Don’t lose hope if your cinema didn’t make it on the list, give your theaters a call to request for the movie!

The story revolves around Nishimiya Shoko, a grade school student who has impaired hearing. She transfers into a new school, where she is bullied by her classmates, especially Ishida Shouya. It gets to the point where she transfers to another school and as a result, Shouya is ostracized and bullied himself, with no friends to speak to and no plans for the future. Years later, he sets himself on a path to redemption.
