HITMAN: AGENT 47 (2015) Review “An agent’s advantage is not his body. It’s his mind.” With enough suspense and action thrills, Hitman: Agent 47 works within its genre. A video game turned into a full-length movie that is surprisingly good and interesting once the main plot takes place. The story isn’t all that new, though. …

ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING (2015) Review “I could solve every problem in the world!” It’s hard to judge a film that looks like a direct-to-DVD release movie but Absolutely Anything is cute. With the usual Simon Pegg charms, the film progresses decently, not overdoing anything but also not embracing anything. The film feels like a little version of Bruce Almighty, having …
DARK PLACES (2015) Review “The truly frightening flaw in humanity is our capacity for cruelty – we all have it.” With Gillian Flynn and her ‘Gone Girl’ attached in all of its promotions, one would think Dark Places will have the same mysteries and edge-of-your-seat surprises. But the mysteries and surprises here felt out of …
THE LOVE AFFAIR (2015) Review Yet we have another ‘other woman’ story in our midst that promises to change the way we look at love when we see it. The Love Affair doesn’t care to give its characters to reflect and to repent on what they’ve done. It focuses on relationships as if it can’t …

FANTASTIC FOUR (2015) Review “With every new discovery, there is risk. But we are stronger together than we are apart.” Stressing more on the world it’s building rather than the characters the film is all about really takes a hit on its overall construction. The new contemporary Fantastic Four is promising. With its boldly chosen …
INSIDE OUT (2015) Review “Do you ever look at someone and wonder, What is going on inside their head?” Ingeniously crafted and its logic though an abstract concept, perfectly makes sense. Inside Out marks another great feature film from Pixar; original, imaginative, colorful and heartwarming. From animation to story, the film is bursting with wit …
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION (2015) Review “This may be our last mission. Let’s make it count.” The Mission: Impossible franchise continues to be fun, suspenseful and action-packed. Rogue Nation is not as solid as the first one or Ghost Protocol but you’ll find more than enough reasons to be on the edge of your …

DETECTIVE CONAN 19: SUNFLOWERS OF INFERNO (2015) Review “People only notice what’s important when they lose them.” Clouded with information which makes it harder to understand until you get to the end. The reveal might come as a surprising twist but the work done to get there felt excessive. Sunflowers of Inferno has a more …
